PhD OPPORTUNITIES: Research/teaching assistants at University of Iowa
The Department of Geography at the University of Iowa is seeking to recruit three additional research/teaching assistants in for this academic year. The areas of interest for which funding is available include:
- Environmental health (including spatial epidemiology)
- Land use change (including conservation ecology)
- GIScience (including geoinformatics, remote sensing and simulation)
- And intersections among the above
Funding for up to 5 years is available. RA/TA stipends start at >$16K for a 9 month academic year, with additional funding available over summer, health benefits, tuition scholarship, and a relatively low cost of living.
