ONLINE PUBLICATION: New DfID Land Policy Document
What is DFID doing about Land? Access to land for poor people is often unfair, and their rights insecure. And where environmental degradation, power relations and population movement increase pressure on scarce land resources, the results can be explosive. This policy paper provides an update on what DFID is doing to:
- connect poor people to economic opportunities; and
- improve governance to help poor men and women gain secure access to land and property.
