CONSULTATION: Help formulate priorities for DFID research, 2008-2013
The UK Department for International Development (DFID) is seeking your views to help it develop a new research strategy for the period 2008-2013.
In the coming period, DFID's budget for research will double, mobilizing an additional £650 million to fund new research programs. These extra resources need to be spent well - which is where YOUR knowledge is needed.
The questions relate to four priority research (http://r4dconsult.wordpress.com/research-themes/) themes as well as (http://r4dconsult.wordpress.com/doing-research-better/) how the new strategy can enhance the quality, relevance, and use of the research DFID supports.
You can contribute by sending an email to r4dconsult@dgroups.org [please give a concrete subject line to help in analyzing the contributions] or by visiting http://r4dconsult.wordpress.com/ and answer the question(s) that interest you. More information on the consultation and DFID funded research can be found at http://www.research4development.info/.
